The overall size of this door is 245mm diameter - that is TOTAL SIZE including the pet door frame.
NOTE* this door has a very small flap size compared to many other cat doors –  the gap for the cat to use is only approx. 125mm tall x 145mm wide (flap = 145mm x 145mm but it hinges at the top so you lose some height!) – check to see if your cat can fit/use this door by cutting a hole in a cardboard box about 10cm off ground level, 125mm tall x 145mm wide and seeing if the cat can get in/out of the box comfortably… we recommend cats up to around 5 to 5.5kg are okay using this door – any larger usually require a larger cat door option.

This Catmate 4 way locking cat door has a locking system of 1x red and 1x green push/sliding latches at the base of the frame.
Ideal for glass installation - it will self line to a depth of 32mm - covering the internal cut/cavity of most glass/double glazed units or thin wooden doors that it's installed into.

No bulky frames on this door - it's slim/small white frame ensures a nice, crisp looking door from the external and the internal views.

-  Cut out size of 223mm diameter hole (this door is designed for installation into glass - please see our wooden fitting option if you require your cat door into a wooden or aluminium door).

-  The overall diameter of this door is 245mm - that is TOTAL SIZE of frame etc so this door is GREAT in smaller glass areas that larger brands/doors may not fit into.

-  The flap size is approx. 145mm x 145mm - this clear flap includes a draught-strip around the flap to help keep out the wind/draughts and a magnet draws the flap back after only a few swings after use.

-  It is self lining up to 32mm so is fine for DGU's (double glazed units) - REMINDER, the hole must be made up in the unit - an existing DGU can't be cut into (call us before ordering if you need advice or are not sure).

-  We do not advise this door for a Rag Doll or Maine Coon cats or cats over 5.5kg as your cat may struggle to use it ... please see our other brands of doors for larger options.
