If you have an existing Cat Mate Electromagnetic Cat Door and its solenoid is not working/latch not dropping  – firstly check you have installed a good quality 9vlt alkaline battery!
The doors require alkaline use (not lithium), using a lithium battery will cause your unit to randomly work/not work, make noises etc… just get the correct battery, install it and you should be ‘good to go’!
If the unit is damaged or not working then this solenoid is your answer, it can be easily installed into the existing glass or wooden fitting electromagnetic cat door – price includes a good quality alkaline battery that generally gives approx. a year to a year and a half use (depending on how often your cat uses their door)
